Online applications are invited for the following Officer posts in Reserve Bank of India (RBI/ Bank) from Indian citizens :
- Research Officer in Grade-B : 10 posts (UR-5, OBC-3, SC-2) in Department of Economic and Policy Research (DEPR)
- Research Officer in Grade-B : 05 posts (UR-3, OBC-1, SC-1) in Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM)
- Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) in Grade-A : 07 posts (UR-4, OBC-1, SC-1, ST-1)
- Manager (Technical - Civil) Grade-B: 02 posts (UR-1, OBC-1)
Age Limit: Candidates
age limit should be between 21 and 30 years (candidates must have been
born not earlier than 02-01-1984 and not later than 01-01-1993) for Post
No.1 to 3 and between 21 and 35 years (candidates must have been born
not earlier than 02-01-1979 and not later than 01-01-1993) for Post No.4
. Age limit should be reckoned as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation will be
applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess Master’s Degree in Economics with a minimum
of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /
years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University / Institute for
Post No.1, Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/
Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from
IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics for Post No.2,
Master’s Degree in Hindi/ Hindi Translation, with English as one of the
subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level for Post No.3 and Bachelor’s Degree
in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 60%
marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years for Post
No.4
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test and interview.
Application Fee:
Candidates has to pay the application fee of Rs.100/- through online
mode or off line mode. No fee is payable by SC/ST/PWD/RBI Staff
candidates.
Online Mode: After ensuring the correctness of the
particulars of the application form, candidates are required to pay the
fees through the payment gateway integrated with the application and the
payment process can be made by using Master/ Visa debit/ credit cards
or internet banking. On successful completion of the transaction, an
e-receipt will be generated. Candidates are required to take a print out
of the e receipt.
Off Line Mode: Candidates need to pay the fee through
system generated fee payment Challan form at any branches of Bank of
Baroda/ Bank of India/ Bank of Maharashtra/ Indian Overseas Bank/
Central Bank of India/ Punjab National Bank/ United Bank of India.
